Import individual posts by link

Release

You can now follow a specific public post on Facebook or Instagram just by pasting its link, without turning the page or profile it came from into a permanently monitored network. It's ideal for reacting to a viral post, a one-off mention or a third-party campaign.

Imported posts section

How it works

On the Meta integrations screen, the new Imported posts section has an Import post button. Paste one or more links to public posts and Post Track starts collecting the comments and engagement of that post, which flow into the same reports and analyses as your monitors.

48 hours of collection

Each imported post has a collection window. Comments keep being captured for 48 hours after the import. The Expires in column shows how much time each post has left, and the actions menu lets you remove a post at any time, which deletes the post and its collected comments.

Your network limit stays untouched

Imported posts don't count as monitored networks. They don't appear in the monitor's source list and don't use up your plan's channel limit. That way you can follow individual posts without changing how your monitors are set up.

The feature is available for accounts on paid plans.
